At PlusParts, we place great value on sustainability in, among other things, our daily operations. We invest in environmentally friendly solutions such as a cardboard baler, a pallet shredder, and efficient waste separation, to reduce waste and reuse raw materials. This way, we’re working step by step toward a responsible, future-focused company.
Cardboard Baler
With our cardboard baler, we give old packaging material a second life. By pressing the cardboard directly, we save space, reduce transport, and lower our CO₂ emissions. The result? Neatly pressed bales ready for recycling. This way, waste becomes a valuable raw material once again.
Pallet Shredder
Our pallet shredder ensures that worn-out pallets are processed efficiently. By breaking them down, we save space, reduce waste, and make the material suitable for reuse. This way, even pallets that have lost their original function get a second life.
Kardex Cabinet
The Kardex cabinet makes our warehouse not only more organized, but also more sustainable. Because the storage system operates vertically, we need less floor space and make optimal use of the available area. This allows us to work more efficiently and prevents unnecessary use of extra storage space and materials.
Beehives for sustainable honey
At our hub in South-West Drenthe (Netherlands), in the beautiful Reest valley, at the edge of the forest, we keep a number of beehives. There, in spring and summer, the bees produce honey from local flowers and blossoms. Depending on the season, the honey is harvested once or a few times a year.
